LOL - Lapak of Life

Title scare you? Looks can be deceptive. Well, it should, seeing as the last words I put down here were more than just a tad closer to Shakespeare. But like I've said, from the beginning, this is a free space, so it don't matta, homie.
Well, I feel drawn to delivering life-lessons for some reason, despite the fact that I'm not exactly a fruit ripe with knowlegde, or even close to anything of the sort, I simply haven't lived long enough for it. However, everybody has their philosophies on what life is and how it is to be lived.

I, for one, like to compare life and its intricately woven complexities to wine and everything related to it.

You see, the thing with wine is everything about it is so infinitely detailed. right from the beginning, i.e. the preparation.
Which grapes they select, from which vineyard, in which country. How the climate is in that country, how that affects the grapes from whichever vineyard it is they've selected.

The transportation - which mind you is one of the most, most important stages in wine preparation - must be inch-perfect, for they must maintain the temperature, condition, hygene, atmosphere, taste, and original freshness of the grapes. If that gets altered, or even slightly damaged? Back to square one. If not, good, it seems you got a dealt an easy first hand at life.
That's when the real game begins.
Now that the raw material is here, it's a real twister. Start with storage. Moving the grapes into storage, recreating an identical environment AGAIN. Then, only once they're ready - getting the wait, timing and judgement here perfectly right is instrumental, these decide goût finale (the finale taste) - bringing them over to the processing units, et al. THAT'S THE LIVING OF IT.

And then, I like to define life, by drawing comparisons to the variety of wines there are. To how different each of them tastes, how different each looks, what each one does, how everyone likes a different wine - and some people don't even like wine! And it's alright! It's perfectly fine!
But the whole idea is in the tasting of it.
We all get served different wines, and we don't have much choice in the tasting of them (and then some of us are escapists), that's just life.
THAT'S THE WINE I SERVE, I HOPE YOU LIKED IT.
